Creating problems where none exist.

I feel that our country is on the verge of loosing everything that our founders fought for. Big government is not going to solve our problems. Especially since Government create problems were none exists through interference (enter fear) with free markets and people. It’s like thinking the drug companies are going to cure sickness treating the symptom. Or that they want to see sickness and disease go away. What our world needs are value producers. A value producer is one the produces more than he/she consumes. A value producer may have debt but it’s not debt created through consumption. It is loans made to fuel production and creativity. A value destroyer is one who consumes more than they produce. They are also debtors. Its simple our country is consuming more than it is producing and we believe that more money for consumption is the answer. We can change that but it has to start at the local level with free enterprise and small business. Government handouts and regulations breed laziness and a false sense of security. True security is only found in taking control of your life, not seeking someone else to do it for you.

Steve, I totally agree with you. What I am seeing, what we are all witnessing is like some sort of nightmare. Just remember that it was only 1/3 of the people in England who got angry enough to do something. As educators, we can help people expand their awareness, and hopefully as the momentum increases, we the people can help enact change. Tina
