Workshop Details:
How do we build a community based on Love AND Action? Too often our communities are organized around one or the other, to their great detriment. This workshop invites people into the amazing healing energy of Kirtan. From this place of connection they are guided into building essential skills for generating and participating in a Community of Love and Action.
How's it work? Throughout the workshop we engage in the following 3 key domains.
First, we generate connection to the Divine through Kirtan.
Second, we build connection to ourselves by exploring what's most important and building a commitment around developing leadership. Through solo, partner and group work to uncover our highest values and generate a commitment statement around which to align. We then develop a plan of action around this commitment.
Finally, we create connection with others through solo, partner and group work where we learn to move from our center (commitment) to connect with another and then align with a group. We work with partners to practicing holding conversations for action to enroll others in helping us bring what's most important into the world!
